Two-Stage Filter Separator Design

For enhanced separation efficiency, a two-stage filter separator design can be employed, consisting of separator elements in the first stage and a mesh or vane in the second stage of the separator vessel. This configuration offers improved removal of both solid and liquid contaminants.

First Stage – Separator Elements: Gas filter separator elements are utilized in the first stage. These depth style cartridges provide efficient bulk separation of liquids and solids from the gas stream.

Second Stage – Mesh or Vane: In the second stage, a mesh or vane arrangement further assists in the separation process by eliminating any remaining liquid droplets and solid particles that might have bypassed the first stage. This stage ensures the delivery of clean, high-quality gas downstream.
